When most of us hear the word autism we tend to redefine who that person is or what they are capable of. Chris may have autism, but this doesn’t define him. He loves to run, work a part-time job, watch movies, play video games, and help around the house. Chris lives a full life.
Chris has something most of us crave; he lives in a world of childlike wonder and loves the story he’s living. His love for comic books and tv shows and video games shapes his view of the world. He wants to be the good guy. The hero. He wants to make the world a better place.
We can all learn from Chris. We can learn to love the story as much as he does.
